During these uncertain times, many choirs have taken their rehearsals online, using zoom and other platforms to allow singers to continue their learning process, sustain choral momentum and keep everyone connected.  And it seems likely that online rehearsing will be a part of the next season, too, at least in some capacity.

As everyone taking part in this way will already be aware, the main drawback of rehearsing in this manner is that participants are muted, unable to hear their colleagues.  To that end, Blossom Street is offering a brand new service, RIGHT TRACK, creating resources for online rehearsals and individual learning, whereby everyone is able to hear their part sung by real voices.  Conductors will be sent a variety of tracks, with forces of their choosing, enabling sectionals, tutti rehearsals and individual practice to flourish.  For instance, you may wish to hear just the alto line with accompaniment, or tenor and bass lines equally with faint soprano and alto in the background; the permutations are entirely your choice.
